Ashanti Douglas, popularly called Ashanti and born in Glen Cove New York United States 13 October 1980. She is an actress and singer of the United States. Ashanti started her career as a teenager and ultimately signed to Murder Inc. Records by 2002. That same year she made an appearance on The Fat Joe's What's Luv? track as well as Ja Rule's Always on Time track. Both have become huge hit songs. She became the first female artist who held the top two spots on the Billboard Hot 100 list in the United States with Foolish at first place and the track What's Luv? What's Luv?
